Mirror

I hate looking at the mirror

For there I see

Every demon, every monster 

That lives in me

I despise the reflection I casted 

For I see every wound, every scars

Reminded me of the choices that I’ve made 

There, I blamed my horrid fate 

These shadows of mine, haunted 

Memoirs of darker days reminded

So, I looked away, fearful 

For the monster I’ve become.
